Janet Smith received her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from The University of Alabama in Birmingham. She was a member of the Sigma Phi Alpha Dental Hygiene Honor Society. She has been working with Dr. Hartsfield for 18 years as a hygienist and then an office coordinator. Janet has a great way of relating to patients. She herself was a migraine sufferer for years. Since working with Dr. Hartsfield, she has discovered the majority of her migraines were due to her sleep-related breathing disorder and nocturnal clenching of her teeth. Janet lives in Corner with her husband and dog. Her extra-curricular activities revolve around her close-knit family, community, and church. She enjoys her time at her pool, gardening, spending time at the beach, and spending time with her grown children and their families. Her newfound joy is experiencing life with her grandson!
